Rumpelstil wurde in Berlin geboren und ist Künstler und Designer. Es benutzt für seine Werke verschiedenste Materialien und Mittel, darunter seltenst Stroh, eher Farbe, Rinde oder Knete.
2006 hat Rumpelstil das Diplom als Kommunikationsdesigner an der FH-Potsdam erlangt.
